  itinerary: Go south from the Port of Invergordon. Experience Culloden Battlefield, a poignant and pivitol moment in Scottish history! We visit Clava Cairns, as featured in Outlander, with its chambered tombs and standing stones, absorbing its unique ambiance. Thereafter spend some free time in the Capital of the Highlands, Inverness, enjoying retail therapy or indulge in sampling some highland hospitality!

On leaving Inverness we travel along the shores of Loch Ness, viewing Urquhart Castle from a distance before makimg our way over the hills on the return to the Port passing picturesque villages of Beauly and the the Norse parilamentary town of Dingwall.
