description: This adventure takes you through the heathlands of Achnasheen, where deer roam. We pass the famous Loch Maree, the unforgettable Torridon and Dundonell mountain ranges and stunning coastal scenery.
Leaving Inverness, we will cross over the Kessock Bridge, which opened in 1982, replacing the vehicular ferry that ran between South Kessock in Inverness and North Kessock onto the Black Isle.
We pass through the quaint villages of Contin and Achnasheen viewing the rugged heathland. Arriving at the Glen Docherty viewpoint with breath taking views over Loch Maree and the village of Kinlochewe ,we stop for a photo opportunity and to enjoy this moment. Thereafter we continue tavelling alongside Loch Maree, under the gaze of the Munro mountain Slioch, until we reach the impressive Victoria Falls, named after Queen Victoria who visited there in 1877.
Continuing our tour, we will make our way along the winding single track road to the seaside village of Gairloch and thereafter onto Poolewe. Here there will be an option to visit the Inverewe Gardens a lush, tropical oasis perched on a peninsula at the edge of Loch Ewe amid the rugged landscape of Wester Ross.
Following the coastline we reach Gruinard Bay offering another stunning viewpoint.
We will then travel along the coast by Little Loch Broom adjacent to the Dundonell mountain range enjoying the rugged mountain views and Little Loch Broom.
The tour will then start to make its way back towards Inverness where we complete our day.
